Case description

Dr. Jason Knox drains a gout lesion from a patient's foot in the office. Gout is a build-up of uric acid in the tissues or a joint. Gout often occurs in the joint of the big toe before any other part of the body. This is because the toe is the part of the body that is furthest from the heart, and it's also the coolest part of the body, thus the most likely target of gout.
