Case description

This patient had a PPV 5 months prior for a vitreous hemorrhage due to retinal tear. The cataract advanced in the postop period and he presented for surgery. I noted an extensive PSC in the clinic, but under the operating microscope I discovered what appeared to be a perforation of the posterior capsule. Video by Jason Jones, MD.
