This is a review of a case where a resident colleague and I placed 2 implants into the mandibular anterior to act as retainers for a complete lower denture. Intraorally and a Pano, showed that implant placement was successful - during the implant placement and postoperatively. However, a sagittal view tells a different story. The implants are fully acceptable, however, it's the "what if" scenario.
