Case description

A 43 year-old female, that has been presenting rectal bleeding for two months. Adenomatous polyp with a large and wide pedicle at sigmoid was found. A colonoscopy polypectomy was performed, first injecting the stalk with dilute epinephrine (1:10,000) in dextrosa 50%, and ligating devices such as a triclip and removed by transection of the stalk with a polypectomy snare.
