Case description

Congenital remains of mucosa of the stomach in the esophagus, being a result of a failure gasrtic development are known as the esophgeal inlet patch. It can be found in even 10% of adults. Sometimes it become unnoticed by general practicioners in endoscopy as a result of its position. As a fully functional stomach mucosal, it produces acid, may be also be ulcerated or neoplastic. Only PPs was used as the symptomatic therapy till now. The material shows the inlet patch therapy with radiofrequency ablation (RFA) with the method Halo 90.
