Esophagel leiomyoma of the "mucularis mucosae"

Asymptomatic patient. Upper Endoscopy revealed a bulging in the proximal esophagus (28 cm). The EUS showed a hypoechoic, oval, homogeneous with precise limits, originated of the second hypoechoic layer. The final diagnosis was leiomyoma of the muscularis mucosae.
