This session will include a practical review of 3 key areas to equip the primary care physician to diagnose and manage this disease in most patients. The areas we will include are: pathophysiology/epidemiology; diagnosis; treatment.


Learning objectives:

•More accurately test for and diagnose celiac disease, at less cost.
•Better advise patients on the practical aspects of the gluten-free diet and why this is necessary.
