Registration on MEDtube is very quick. Just complete a simple registration form that appears when you click on the icon "Register" located in the upper right corner of the page. Once you fill the form you will get an activation message on your e-mail. After clicking the confirmation link in the message your account is created. You can complete your profile information after signing in.
 

What do I get after the registration?

Registred users can use the complete functions of MEDtube. After registering you are the part of MEDtube community. You can contribute sharing medical knowledge by uploading your medical materials, rating, commenting and exchanging your views and experience with other users around the world. You will also be informed about the recent and most interesting materials uploaded on MEDtube.
 

How much does it cost to use MEDtube?

You can use MEDtube for free. There are no charges for uploading, viewing or sharing medical videos, photos and documents. No commercial brans or product placement is allowed.
 

Who can upload on MEDtube?

Medical videos or other files can be uploaded by registered users. This can be either a doctor, nurse, teacher, paramedic, student and any other healthcare professional.

How can I edit uploaded materials?

You can edit uploaded materials after signing in to your account. You can find uploaded files in My media section. Edited material requires approval by our specialists.
 

How can I remove my material from MEDtube?

You can remove uploaded material after signing in to your account. You can find uploaded files in My media section. If your material has got an expert comment you can remove it after the administrator's approval.
 

How can I add a comment to a material?

To add a comment click the Add comment button under the material description or materials published on the user/channel profile. To comment you have to be signed in.
 

How can I rate materials published on MEDtube?

Only registered users can rate medical videos, pictures and documents. To rate published material you have to sign in. You can find rating in the right bottom corner under the material published. Moving the cursor from left to right you can rate the material in scale: 1 to 5 where 5 is the highest rate.
 

Why should I rate or comment materials published on MEDtube?

Any material published on MEDtube can be rated by users. By comments and ratigns the authors of the materials get information about the value of their work, as well as guidelines to help them to raise the quality of materials published. Rating enables also a quick search for the materials of the highest value. This is especially useful for the users who watch the materials in the field they do not deal with day by day. Ratings and comments give also an opportunity for discussion, exchange of views, opinions and experiences of doctors from around the world.
 

How can I search for medical materials on MEDtube?

Easiest way to search for medical videos, picures and documents is a search bar placed in top section of the page. You can also view the uploaded materials going into the various medical categories and using tags. To precise your search you can use filters that appear above the presented results.
 

How can I report abuse or violation against the Terms of Use?

Any abuse or violation against the TOU should be immediately reported tho the administrator.

Abuse or violation against the TOU in the comments should be reported by clicking SPAM button by the comment.

Abuse or violation against the TOU in other sections should be reported by the contact form in the Contact section. In the title of your message please write "Abuse report". In the message please give us a link to the page on which the abuse or violation appered. 
 

Which file formats are supported by MEDtube and what is the maximum size?

Currently we support the following file formats:

- videos: .avi, .mpeg, .mpg, .mp4, .mov, .flv
- pictures: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png
- documents: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .pdf, .txt, .zip, .rar
 
You can upload with single file size limit up to 1 GB.

I did not receive the activation message

Please check whether the activation message has not been stopped by spam protection filter on you e-mail account is not in the spam box. If not, please check whether your e-mail is correct. If the your e-mail address is in our database and you did not receive the activation link, please contact us using the contact form in the Contact section.
 

I can't sign in / I forgot my passwords

If you can't sign in please chceck if your e-mail adresss and passwords is correct. If you do not remember you passwords please use a password reminder. You can find it in sign in box. On a given e-mail adress you will get a link to set a new password.
